Academic Night

Here I am at Academic Night on April 22, 2009 at Mesquite High School.
150 7th graders and 136 8th graders from South Valley Junior High (including me) were honored for their academic achievement of a 3.8 Grade point average or higher. Cool thing is-if I get straight A's again at the very end of the school year, my Dad is taking me on a day trip to Universal Studios California as a reward. It will be just him and me! I really want to go on the new Simpsons 3D ride experience!!

Tag

This is my Dog, Tag. He is a 6 year old yellow lab. He honestly is the best dog a guy could ask for. We found him in a newspaper ad for 100 dollars. He is easily the best hundred dollars we have ever spent!! This is probably the most recent picture of him. He loves to go to the park and chase tennis balls. He also loves to sleep. That is mostly all he gets to do all day. We are usually at school and my parents are at work so he gets plenty of time to sleep. Anyways, expect to here more about him later. :)

Thanksgivings is about birds!!

Everybody Loves Thanksgiving. But since this blog is about me I'm going to tell you why i like thanksgiving. I can basically sum it all up into two words, food and fun. Everybody including me loves thanksgiving because we love to eat food. Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Gravy, Cranberry sauce, Warm soft rolls, and best of all the Turkey. Now, every year I go over to my grandmas house for thanksgiving, and this year she decided to buy a 31 pound turkey. You can just picture the size of the drumstick on that thing. It was as big as those ones that you can get at the Renaissance festival. Not to mention that she invites over a ton of people from our family and there was still over half of the turkey left when we were all done eating it. Now the second reason is fun. When we go, my 2 cousins named James and Ryan come over and we hang out. My Grandma has this blowup ball and we go into her backyard and usually play kick ball or wall ball or really whatever they fell like playing at the moment. Then my cousin have to leave because they go to there other grandmas for a second dinner. But thanksgiving over all is my third favorite holiday. (By the way that is my family up in that pic, I'm the One in the middle.)
